A French dance group “Melting Spot,” led by the French hip-hop dance pioneer Farid Berki, presents a contemporary dance performance: “Exodust.” As the title indicates, the performance elaborates on the theme of “migration,” and more specifically, on “illegal immigrants,” their hope, difficulty and disappointment in a society today.

Mleczarnia Foundation organizes the 1st edition of “Czyli Wrocław.” “Czyli Wrocław” literally translates as “Or Wrocław” or “A.k.a. Wrocław,” and this title reflects the ambition of the festival to represent a dynamic and creative side of Wrocław and promote it to a wider public both in and out of the city. The programme includes theatre performance, discussion meeting, concert and cabaret, etc.

At the Mandala Performance Festival (25.04.2008 – 27.04.2008), a Canadian actress Sharon Feder presented a performance entitled “Nostalgia”
In the interview after the performance, Feder shared with us some of the personal motivations behind the creation of this piece.
Before the camera, she talks about her family history, homesickness, reflection on plural identities and also the significance of “Wrocław” in all of this.
