Lycourgos Angelopoulos is the first cantor of Athens’s cathedral and is known as the authority in orthodox Byzantine chant. This Saturday, he will sing with three of his chorists.
During this week, the chorists will also conduct seminars on Byzantine chant at Kolegium Europy Wschodniej (pl. Nankiera 17). Here is the schedule:
29.11.2007 - 18:00 (Thursday) - with a presentation of a book on history of Byzantine music and hymnography
30.11.2007 - 18:00 (Friday)
01.12.2007 - 10:00 (Saturday)
Admission charge for the seminar is 20 PLN.
